Your Debit & Credit Card At The Gas Pump

Please read if you buy gas with a credit or debit card !!!!!!!

Using credit/debit card?  Read this note carefully.  I didn’t know
about the ‘clear button’, but I will be pushing the ‘clear button’ before I
swipe my gas or debit card…. AND AFTER…..just to be safe.

People are getting desperate due to the economy and constantly rising gas
prices.  A friend just told me about something that happened to one of
his coworkers.

She had used her credit/debit card to purchase gas at the pump (like most of
us do).  She received her receipt like normal.

However, when she checked her statement, there were (2) $50.00 charges added
in addition to her purchase!  Upon investigation, she found out, that
because she had not pressed the ‘clear’ button on the pump, the employee inside the store
was able to use her card to purchase his/her own gas! (How nice.)

To keep this from happening to you, after you get your receipt, you must press
the ‘CLEAR’ button, or your information will be stored until the next
customer inserts their card.

Be sure to tell all your friends/family so that this doesn’t happen to them!

I had never noticed the ‘clear button’, but I got gas the other day and
sure enough…there it is!   I shall be using it from now on.

“BURUNDANGA” Bunk E-mails ?

False

Collected via- e-mail 3-15-2010
I’m passing this along! People are R E A L L Y crazy! If you are female, take heed! If you are male and have a significant female in your life who you care about, whether it’s your wife, your girlfriend, your daughter, your sister, your niece, your cousin, your next door neighbor; whomever………….pass this along! Always, “Better safe than sorry!”

A man came over and offered his services as a painter to a female putting gas in her car and left his card.. She said no, but accepted his card out of kindness and got in the car. The man then got into a car driven by another gentleman. As the lady left the service station, she saw the men following her out of the station at the same time. Almost immediately, she started to feel dizzy and could not catch her breath.. She tried to open the window and realized that the odor was on her hand; the same hand which accepted the card from the gentleman at the gas station..

She then noticed the men were immediately behind her and she felt she needed to do something at that moment. She drove into the first driveway and began to honk her horn repeatedly to ask for help. The men drove away but the lady still felt pretty bad for several minutes after she could finally catch her breath. Apparently, there was a substance on the card that could have seriously injured her..

This drug is called ‘BURUNDANGA‘ and it is used by people who wish to incapacitate a victim in order to steal from or take advantage of them.

This drug is four times dangerous than the date rape drug and is transferable on simple cards. So take heed and make sure you don’t accept cards at any given time you are alone or from someone on the streets. This applies to those making house calls and slipping you a card when they offer their services.

True

Burundanga is a real drug that is well known in Colombia and a source if widespread concern.  Criminals in Colombia have been known to put the drug into food, gum, or drinks of people. It’s known  to put people into a trance-like state in which they appear to be conscious ,but powerless to resist orders.  Victims have been known to make bank withdrawals, participate in handing clothing, furniture, and other valuables over to thieves just because they were told to do it. Burundanga is described as being odorless and tasteless, so it would not have produce a strong odor described in the E-mail

We also didn’t find any incidents in which anyone has passed the drug to another person  through simple touch, such as on a business card.
